The Role

Your role will be global and will involve different areas that will help CloudFactory grow and create opportunities for thousands of people in Nepal, Kenya and the Philippines.

You’re someone who has high integrity, and the diligence, persistence, and organizational skills to work in and lead some aspects of the Operations team, while continuously working to improve our service delivery.

You’re a Specialist, who is highly skilled in the following Operations Focus Areas:

  • Events Management: You have experience in leading an events team and delivering high-quality end to end meaningful events working with both internal and external stakeholders in both the virtual and physical domain. You have experience in organizing and hosting events that have enhanced an organization's image, improved client loyalty, and enhanced the brand-to-client experience. You have a proven track record of working with various internal stakeholders such as procurement, IT and Finance to name a few to ensure that there is synergy and all client expectations are met. You will be working with these and other stakeholders to research and secure venues, plan and manage events calendars, assist with event marketing, monitoring timeframes and budgets, network, and deliver on event brief objectives.

    • You have an eye for detail, a drive for excellence and the courage to hold all stakeholders accountable to ensure that all client expectations are met.
  • Company Services: You have experience in adding value through the delivery of great experiences when offering administrative services, office services, and guest relations. You have served clients by offering regular, clear, efficient, and timely administrative, office and guest relation experiences, that are backed by clearly defined processes, tools and procedures, and have met and exceeded all clients’ expectations.

You have also demonstrated experience in running multiple projects at once. Moreover, you should be great at multitasking priorities in a fast-paced role and have a demonstrated ability to collaborate across many teams and/or functions.

You have experience in leading and aligning teams towards a common goal and have been accountable for the growth of your team members in the past.

You respect data and can accumulate and analyze data to make decisions based on the data.

The Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Building strong human connections across every relational space (intimate, personal, social, public - in person and virtual expressions).
  • Promote and share social activities, culture and ways people can connect to them.
  • To develop ‘global’ engagement through hosting and/or supporting global events for example Global All Hands, Global Awards, Webinars, workshops etc.
  • Expanding cultural perspective, education, training and volunteering programs.
  • Partnering with different CloudFactory Departments to make their events successful to accomplish the desired outcomes of their event/s.
  • Daily proper and timely execution of the company services functions; like scheduling, filing, data entry, etc, to facilitate the activities of other departments to keep the organization running smoothly.
  • Facilitating inter-connectivity by ensuring effective communication and updates among different departments, e.g. during weekly All Hands.
  • Delighting clients and building valuable experiences that build relationships.
  • Management of the Operations Information Center and flow to ensure everyone at CloudFactory understands the role of Operations, the team and team members’ responsibility.
  • Coordination of people and activities within CloudFactory.
  • Managing the creation and iterating our processes, standard operating procedures and policies and implementing best practices. You will be responsible for the execution of the policies, procedures and processes in your focus areas; this role ensures full compliance and risk management of the activities within Events Management and Company Services.
  • Identifying and assessing the gaps, differences and risks in processes/procedures within your focus areas; in the early phases of integrations and proposing/leading the execution of solutions to address such differences.
  • Stabilizing processes and working with the cross-functional teams to address disconnects to ensure timely business continuity and smooth operations within your focus areas.
  • Leading change management processes using people-centred collaboration techniques with both our internal and external teams.
  • Managing and working with a team of operations Assistants, and Associates to deliver for our clients. You will be responsible for effective management of your direct reports, including hiring, orientation, training, development, performance management, and motivation of team members. You will be accountable for leading your team, assessing competencies and gaps and should be able to push your team by setting challenges as Acts as an ambassador of the 3 Cs and 10 core principles for the department.
  • Ensures continual improvement of our Distributed-first experience.

Requirements:

 

  • 3+ years of managerial experience in Events Management, Project Management, Office Management and Company Services or related fields.
  • Management of teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Ability to jump into complex situations quickly, relate to many levels of authority smoothly, and bridge gaps in culture and perception.
  • Demonstrated business acumen with a desire to learn and evolve with a growth-oriented business model.
  • Strong data/economic/financial modelling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
  • Strong Technological understanding.
  • Exhibits initiative in problem-solving and trouble-shooting with attention to detail.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to work on multiple projects with time constraints and varying deadlines.
  • Demonstrated project management skills in both leading efforts and being a team member.
  • Ability to leverage systems/tools to manage data.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently.
  • Ability to lead a team and delegate.
