Job Responsibilities:

As an AWS & DevOps Trainer, your responsibilities would typically be to:

• Conduct engaging and effective training sessions on DevOps and AWS, tailored to learners of various skill levels
• Develop training roadmaps and course plans as needed
• Create comprehensive course content, slides, and accompanying guides
• Assess trainee progress through quizzes, projects, and code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement
• Assist trainees in resolving coding challenges and debugging issues to foster a thorough understanding of cloud-based solutions and architectures
• Monitor, evaluate, and review the quality and effectiveness of training, assessments, and outcomes delivered on the roadmap
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing training content to ensure relevance and effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field
• 2+ years of relevant experience working with DevOps and AWS services
• Prior experience teaching and/or consulting in a corporate setting to corporate end-users and/or students
• AWS Certification at least at the associate level is desired

Required Skills:

• Solid understanding of AWS services, architectures, and deployment methodologies for constructing robust and scalable cloud solutions
• Solid grasp of AWS concepts such as computing, networking, load balancing, autoscaling, databases, serverless computing, security, and compliance
• Sound knowledge of DevOps principles, including CI/CD (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins), build automation, scripting, and containerization (e.g., Docker & Kubernetes)
• Experience utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration tools like Terraform, Ansible, Packer, etc.
• Ability to craft user manuals, training guides, and documentation as required
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts in a simplified manner.
