Job Overview:

Information Security Officer is responsible to design and enforce policies and procedures of the organization computing infrastructure from all the forms of security. Information Security Officer should have expert analytics skills and an in-depth knowledge of best practices to prevent a wide range of security threats. 

Essential Requirements:

·         Must have minimum of Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in computer science or Bachelor's in computer application or equivalent degree in IT related subjects from a recognized university

·         Should have minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in Information Technology preferably in IT security of a reputed organization 

Key Skills/ Knowledge:

·         Should have knowledge on Industry standard security requirements and procedures for an IT company

·         Should have knowledge on security assessments audits like PCI DSS, ISO 27000, etc.

·         Should be able to liaise with auditors, vendors, payment associations, regulators of development/enhancement of compliance policies and procedures

·         Should have knowledge about SEIM, FIM, Antivirus and able to analyze the reports generated

·         Thorough knowledge of IT Security requirements of Unix and Windows servers

·         Thorough knowledge of IT Security requirements of Firewalls and network

·         Effective written and verbal communications skills, including experience with communications to a diverse community, group facilitation, formal presentations

·         Collaboration, problem-solving and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities:

·         To ensure required policy documents and appropriate forms are in place to ensure IT security implementation in both IT and operations

·         Continuously train staff on all security matters

·         To assist in all types of IT Security inspections and audits and to ensure that the company is fully complied with the recommendations
