Job Description

● Develops e-commerce solutions by gathering information required, studying systems flow, data usage and work processes

● Responsible for analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs and designing solutions to fix

● Documents and demonstrates e-commerce solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code

● Write and execute unit tests for all components of application

● Building out custom Shopify themes and modifying pre-existing themes depending on the scope of the project

● Participate in integrated test sessions of components and subsystems on Dev, UAT and Production servers

● Support other technical infrastructure (e.g. Repository, build system, testing system) under guidance from the Leads

● Performs more consistently and works together with team to ensure project success

● Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in coding standards and cloud technologies

Job Specification

● Bachelor’s Degree in IT or related field required

● With at least 3+ years Shopify Plus experience

● Knowledge of Shopify Ajax API a plus, as well as experience configuring third party apps

● Expert in Shopify APIs and its usage

● Working knowledge in Custom Shopify APP development

● Proven knowledge with Admin API and Storefront API

● Background in Product modeling and configuration via Shopify Admin

● Understanding of Product, Discount, Order APIs and customizations using the APIs

● Prior experience with product/Customer/Order import Export management

● Awareness of the Marketing Events, Discounts, Subscriptions, Gift Cards, Rewards, Reviews, Loyalty programs and their configurations in Shopify

● Knowledge in other ecommerce framework will be a plus point

● working with modern technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3 experience

● Strong written & verbal communication skills
