Talent Connects in association with one of the leading educational institutions of Nepal is looking for a Placement and Training Officer. The candidate shall be hired by Talent Connects for the educational institution located at Kathmandu, Nepal.

Job Description

  1. Planning a training calendar for a year in advance and executing the same with due approval of the college management
  2. Assisting in conceptualizing and implementing training programs for students which includes, but is not limited to guest/expert lecture series, workshops, volunteering opportunities, career guidance and counseling sessions
  3. Managing all aspects of the placements and internship recruitment on campus including communications and outreach, handling grievances, managing external relationships, and planning and conducting orientation and workshops under the supervision and guidance of the college management
  4. Planning and conducting CV writing sessions and other placement related sessions
  5. Contributing towards relationship building with organizations from a variety of sectors and industries and on ground execution of placement processes
  6. Leading and mentoring various student committees and developing and implementing all outreach and marketing activities, campaigns, and strategies under the college management
  7. Counselling students (one-on-one and in groups) on various placement-related issues such as resume building, interview tips, group discussions
  8. Planning, organizing and conducting guest lectures, expert lectures and workshops for students (aptitude development, technical, conceptual, behavioral, and practical)
  9. Planning and organizing Mock Interviews for students
  10. Planning, organizing and conducting Industrial Visits (Once in a semester for each batch)
