Job Description 

The purpose of this position is to play a pivotal role in leading and evolving the technical frontend landscape, orchestrating innovative solutions, and providing expert guidance to build scalable, efficient, and user-centric frontend applications. The Lead Frontend Engineer champions a culture of technical excellence, fosters collaboration, and drives the adoption of cutting-edge technologies to elevate the organization's frontend capabilities and user experiences, particularly emphasizing micro frontend architecture and ANT Design principles.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical architecture and development of frontend solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
  • Conduct in-depth code reviews, provide technical guidance, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and maintain high code quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including design and backend engineering, to align technical solutions with product goals.
  • Architect and implement robust and scalable frontend systems and frameworks, leveraging micro frontend architectures and ANT Design principles.
  • Dive deep into complex technical challenges, propose innovative solutions, and drive their implementation to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in frontend technologies, advocating for their adoption where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in frontend development with expertise in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue.js).
  • Proven experience in a leadership role, mentoring a team of frontend developers.
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and the ability to translate designs into interactive user interfaces.
  • Experience with micro frontend architectures and implementing design systems like ANT Design.

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js, with expertise in their ecosystem and tooling. Familiarity with performance optimization techniques, including code splitting, lazy loading, and caching strategies.
  • Micro Frontend Architecture: Strong understanding and practical experience in implementing micro frontend architecture, enabling scalable and modular frontend systems.
  • ANT Design Principles: In-depth knowledge and application of ANT Design principles for designing and building user interfaces and experiences.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated leadership abilities in leading technical teams, providing mentorship, and guiding engineers in a collaborative environment. Ability to set goals, prioritize tasks, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Architecture Design: Capability to design and implement robust and scalable frontend architectures, making informed decisions about technology stacks and architectural patterns.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address complex technical challenges and devise effective solutions.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and senior management. Ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
