We’re hiring Post Settlement Specialist for one of our Australian clients who works in the domain of credit advisory and finance broking services for both residential and commercial property.

About the Role: Post Settlement Specialist 

As a Post Settlement Specialist, you will work be responsible for handling various tasks related to the settlement process in a professional and efficient manner. Your primary objective will be to ensure the smooth and accurate completion of settlements and provide exceptional customer service. You will work closely with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and internal teams to facilitate the post-settlement procedures and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements. 

Responsibilities: 

Post-Settlement Coordination: Coordinate and manage the activities involved in the post-settlement phase, including but not limited to the processing of settlement documents. Record and update existing and new clients loan structure and details in a Google sheets. Identify client's rates who need to be renegotiated. 

Periodically renegotiate client rates whose loan settled: 

  • 12 months ago 
  • 24 months ago 
  • 36 months ago 

Documentation Management: Review and verify all settlement documents for accuracy and completeness. Maintain records and track important deadlines associated with post-settlement tasks. 

Communication and Follow-up: Maintain regular communication with clients, real estate agents, lenders, and internal departments to provide updates on settlement progress, resolve issues, and address inquiries in a timely manner. Act as a point of contact for any post-settlement related concerns or questions. 

Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough reviews of settlement files, documentation, and financial calculations to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. 

Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any post-settlement issues, errors, or missing information. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve problems efficiently. 

Work: Remote 

Time: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (Sydney time)
