Designation: Assistant Manager – Go-To-Market (GTM)

Reports to: Head of Partner Relations & GTM

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday 

Position Overview

The responsibilities of an Assistant Manager – Go-To-Market(GTM) include conducting market and competitor reviews and research, completing client research, forecasting trends, and determining customer problems and potential ways to solve them. In this career, you provide support to the Head of Partner Relations & GTM, help identify new market opportunities, define a roadmap to obtaining new customers, help with strategy development for these new markets, and help plan the budget. 

Other duties include writing up documents for market and product requirements and reporting on marketing promotions and performance indicators to help track goals and increase sales revenue. You are also responsible for monitoring inventory, assisting the sales team with product questions, and working with vendors to find out product lead time, availability, product positioning & packages, vendor support on Go-To-Market along with the commercials.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Market Research:
  1. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive products.
  2. Analyze customer feedback and gather insights to inform product decisions.
  • Product Development:
    1. Assist in defining product requirements, features, and functionality.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing, to ensure alignment with product goals.
  • Project Management:
    1. Support project planning, coordination, and execution to meet product development timelines.
    2. Track and communicate project progress to stakeholders.
  • Data Analysis:
    1. Analyze product performance data, user metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
    2. Use data insights to identify opportunities for improvement and inform product decisions.
  • Documentation:
    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation, including specifications, user guides, and release notes.
    2. Ensure that team members have access to relevant and current information.
  • Communication:
    1. Facilitate communication between team members, ensuring everyone is informed and aligned on project goals.
    2. Communicate with stakeholders, including customers, to gather feedback and address concerns.
  • Market Positioning:
    1. Assist in defining the product positioning and messaging.
    2. Collaborate with marketing teams to create promotional materials and campaigns.
  • Quality Assurance:
      1. Work with the quality assurance team to ensure products meet quality standards and are free of defects.
      2. Participate in testing and validation processes.
  • Competitor Analysis:
    1. Monitor and analyze competitor products to identify strengths, weaknesses, and market opportunities.
    2. Provide insights to the product team for strategic decision-making.
  • Customer Support:
    1. Collaborate with customer support teams to address product-related issues and gather insights for improvement.
    2. Participate in customer interactions to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Budget Management:
    1. Assist in managing the budget allocated for product development and related activities.
    2. Work with finance teams to ensure financial goals are met.
  • Strategic Planning:
    1. Contribute to the development of the product roadmap and long-term strategic plans.
    2. Provide input on product strategy based on market trends and customer feedback.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Task Related Skills and Certifications 
  1. Master’s degree in business administration, management, engineering or a related field.
  2. Proven track record of at least 3 years in relevant fields.
  3. Proficient in conducting comprehensive market research, analyzing trends, and identifying customer needs and competitive products.
  4. Skilled in understanding and defining product requirements, features, and functionality, ensuring alignment with market demands.
  5. Demonstrated ability in project planning, coordination, and execution to meet product development timelines while adhering to budget constraints.
  6. Experienced in analyzing product performance data, user metrics, and KPIs to drive continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.
