Job Title: Project Officer

Designation: Project Officer

Reports to: Project Manager

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Officer. In this role, you will play a crucial part in supporting the efficient and effective execution of various projects within the organization. The Project Officer will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks, facilitating communication among team members, and ensuring the smooth flow of project-related activities.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Project Administration:
    1. Assist in the creation and maintenance of project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports.
    2. Coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and capture meeting minutes.
    3. Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones to ensure timely completion.
  • Communication and Collaboration:
    1. Facilitate communication among project team members, stakeholders, and other relevant parties.
    2. Act as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries and information.
    3. Ensure effective collaboration and information sharing within the project team.
  • Resource Management:
    1. Assist in resource allocation and tracking to ensure optimal utilization of project resources.
    2. Work closely with project managers to identify and address resource needs.
  • Risk Management:
    1. Identify potential risks to project timelines and outcomes.
    2. Collaborate with the project team to develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Quality Assurance:
    1. Monitor and ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
    2. Conduct periodic project reviews to assess progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Documentation and Reporting:
    1. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
    2. Generate regular project status reports for distribution to stakeholders.
  • Training and Support:
    1. Provide guidance and support to project team members on project management processes and tools.
    2. Conduct training sessions to enhance team members’ understanding of project-related procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Task-Related Skills and Certifications 
  1. Proven experience in project coordination or related roles.
  • Competencies and Soft Skills 
  1. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  2. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  3. Proficient in Excel/ Google Sheet
  4. Proficient in project management tools and software.
  5. Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
